Timetable Update for 2024-25

Following ongoing feedback from staff, students and families, we spent the last two weeks examining and revising the school class schedule. Last Thursday, a new five period per day model, similar to a model from the past (pre-Covid) was shared with Department Coordinators for feedback and discussion. The final schedule for next year has been established. A few highlights include:

  • Each regular day will have five 70-minute periods

  • Monday, Thursday and alternating Wednesdays will have the same classes (blocks A-E)

  • Tuesday, Friday and alternating Wednesdays will have the same classes (block F-I)

  • There will be a tumble for the days in order to ensure that the same classes do not occur at the same time each week to support student learning

  • The tumble will roll out over two weeks (ten days)

  • A visual of the periods in week 1 and week 2 is HERE

  • A visual of the school calendar by day is HERE

The Department Coordinators may have shared your department’s schedule as they work to assign timetables for next year. If not, please feel free to connect to your DC for more information.
