Mental Health Matters

On June 21, we engaged in Livingworks training to guide us in recognizing when someone is thinking about suicide and how to connect them with help and support.

As we begin the 2022-23 school year, the Social Work team invites us all to revisit these 4 steps in support of each other:

  1. Tune in & notice

  2. Ask in a calm, clear and direct way

  3. State all thoughts of suicide are serious

  4. Connect to help

For information on support, visit the Mental Health Resources page.

COVID-19 Case Counter

UTS reported 1 confirmed COVID-19 cases among in-person staff and students during the week of September 19-23.

These numbers are updated every Thursday and can be found here in this document.

Parent Update

New in this update you will find information on AP Exams registration, an upcoming information session for the M4 Washington trip, how to apply for the UTS Timeraiser Startup Accelerator program, and social work resources available to students.
