Avis Glaze Report - USW Staff

USW staff are invited and encouraged to attend an open discussion to talk about the Glaze Report specific to your role at the school and understand how the recommendations will be implemented.

It will be held in the multipurpose room on Monday, November 28 at 9 a.m.


YLLT Virtual Sessions

All F1 students will be hearing from Dr. Jenny Kay Dupuis, author of I Am Not a Number - award-winning non-fiction children’s picture book about her grandmother’s experience in residential school - on Monday November 28 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. via Zoom.

All F1 teachers are invited to attend.

F1 Teachers:  Please minimize homework for this weekend, due to F1 virtual learning on November 28.

All F1 students will be engaged in virtual learning from 9:00-11:00 a.m. on November 28.  They will be doing a session on Digital Literacy (“Making Email More Manageable + Email Etiquette”) with Garth Chalmers and and Crecensia Fong, followed by a book talk (I Am Not a Number - Dr. Jenny Kay Dupuis).

F2 Teachers:  Please minimize homework for this weekend, due to F2 YLLT virtual learning on November 28.

F2 students will be learning online on the afternoon of Monday November 28 about the UN Sustainable Development Goals.  In the interest of student wellness and to free up their time and energy so that they can be fully present at these sessions, kindly minimize homework this weekend.  Thanks!
