Parent-Teacher Interviews

Accurate teacher timetables will be available for download starting on February 10.

Late Start on February 14

A reminder that Wednesday, February 14 is a late start for F2 to S6 students and a quiet start for teachers who had PTIs on February 13.

F1 students will be working with the Student Success and Guidance team.

Panorama Survey

On Tuesday, February 20 at 12:45 p.m. during period 3 teachers will be asked to distribute and supervise students as they complete the 2023-24 Panorama Survey. As done in 2021 and 2022-23, this equity and inclusion climate survey is designed to give us a sense of and pulse on how students are feeling, relative to equity and inclusion in the school community. The online survey should take no more than 40 minutes to complete. More details will be provided to period 3 (Block C) teachers in the coming days.

Please let Kim T. know if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you in advance for your support as we continue to implement the Glaze recommendations and work to make UTS an even more inclusive space.

Paul Davis Speaking to M3s

The M3s will have a special presentation from Paul Davis on February 26 in period 2.

Period 2 teachers have been contacted, but all M3 teachers are strongly encouraged to attend if available to hear what the M3s are learning about digital citizenship and cyber safety. Below is Paul’s bio:

Paul Davis has dedicated his 30-year career to IT/Cyber safety. Since his first presentation over ten years ago, he has spoken to over 620,000 students in four provinces and five states, along with the Ontario Provincial Police, Canada Border Services and the Department of National Defence. He provides a fact-based delivery on how parents/guardians and children may use technology safely, without falling into the pitfalls that can be associated with the internet and associated electronic communications.
